Silver has many common uses such as jewelry, photography, electrical conductors,
mirrors, money, and surprisingly enough it is even in medicine. One compound that
includes silver is silver nitrate, which is made when silver metal is mixed with nitric
acid. Silver nitrate then turns in to other compounds such as antiseptic, which is a
bacteria killer people put on cuts to stop any type of infection. Also, when silver is
mixed with hydrogen sulfide it creates silver sulfide which people usually know as
the tarnish on a silver coin and other objects.
